Caked by Daisy Order Policies

Thank you for choosing Caked by Daisy! Every cake is custom-made with care, and these policies help ensure a smooth experience for everyone.

Order Confirmation & Payment

  • A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your order date.

  • Orders are not confirmed until the retainer has been received.

  • The remaining balance is due 7 days before your scheduled pickup or delivery date. Orders with an unpaid balance may be canceled.

Cancellations

  • The 50% retainer is non-refundable, as it reserves your date and covers planning, supplies, and preparation. The only exception to receiving a deposit refund is if the order is cancelled within 48 hours after the date is confirmed. 

  • Payments are due at least 72 hours before the pick up date.

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before pickup will not owe any remaining balance beyond the deposit.

  • Cancellations made within 4 days of pickup are not eligible for a refund. 

Rescheduling

  • If you need to change your pickup date, please contact me as soon as possible.

  • One reschedule may be accommodated with at least 7 days' notice, subject to availability.

  • Date changes requested within 7 days of pickup cannot be guaranteed.

Design Changes

  • Please review your invoice carefully before submitting your deposit.

  • Minor design changes (such as colors or wording) may be requested up to 7 days before pickup, when possible.

  • Significant changes to the cake size, flavor, or overall design may require a revised quote or may not be possible depending on the production schedule.

Inspiration Photos

Inspiration photos are always welcome and are used as a guide. Because each cake is handmade, no design can be replicated exactly. Every cake is uniquely created while maintaining the requested style and theme.

Pickup

  • Please arrive at your scheduled pickup time.

  • If you anticipate being late, please let me know as soon as possible.

  • Cakes should be transported on a flat, level surface in a cool, air-conditioned vehicle. Avoid placing cakes on seats or in direct sunlight.

  • Delivery can be worked out on some occasions if I am available. 

Cake Care & Liability

Once your order has been picked up or delivered, responsibility for the cake transfers to the customer. Caked by Daisy is not responsible for damage caused by improper handling, transportation, storage, accidents, or weather conditions after the cake leaves my possession.

Allergens

Products are prepared in a home kitchen where common allergens, including wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts, may be present. While every effort is made to prevent cross-contact, Caked by Daisy cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Photography

Caked by Daisy reserves the right to photograph completed cakes and desserts for use on social media, the website, and other promotional materials unless otherwise requested by the customer.
